This is a great product.
Often, slightly worn golf club cannot deliver the grip I need to make a confident swing. I quick grap of the cloth or a touch to the grip does the trick. Dissaptes quickly so your hands and club do not have residue.
“The best value in golf.”
Andrew Cohn, Chicago Golf
My name is Andrew Cohn, and I love golf. I’ve been playing for more than 35 years. I have always looked for ways to improve.
When I was fourteen years old, I had just made my freshman golf team. I went out for a practice round with my mother. It was a very hot, humid Chicago summer day. Playing with my mom, she made sure I added more sunscreen and bug spray when we made the turn.
An interesting thing happened to my grip with the residue from the sunscreen plus bug spray mix. My hands and my golf club grips got stickier. With that increased tackiness on my grips, I found I had more feel on my shots around the green. I had gotten up and down only once on the front nine.
On the back nine, I was able to go improve my chipping and short shots to where I went up and down five times. This improved feel translated to really improved performance around the greens.
Keep in mind, that at fourteen, I wasn’t hitting the ball all that far. Wooden drivers, the Titleist blades that I had to have, and the belief that I had to swing really fast, didn’t help me much either. So this improvement in my short shots, really improved my game — that day!
The next time out, I did not repeat the success. At the time, I had no idea that the extra tackiness in my grip translated into less grip pressure caused my better feel and better short game results. Even if I had known the cause, I probably could not repeat that perfect mix to duplicate the tackiness. Did it wash off? Was it even good for me? I had no way to do it again.
Then I discovered Gorilla Gold® Golf Grip cloths. I tried one, and I had the same tackiness I found that great day in 1978. The great time with my mom, and the great results that improved my short game.
Since I started using Gorilla Gold® Golf Grip cloths, my handicap index has dropped from 16.8 to 8.3. I don’t know if Gorilla Gold® Golf Grip cloths will help you cut your handicap in half like I did. It could be that one ingredient you need to help improve your golf game past your current game.
Best product on the market today…all the other pale by comparison…have one of these in your bag on a rainy day and you finish first with a five handicap
I bought this product last year because I had heard that it would make the grips more tacky. My hands sweat a lot when it is hot and it was very hot last summer and it looks to be just as hot this year. The product worked great. I used it one time and played 8 rounds of golf before I wiped the grips down again. It doesn’t seem to be losing any of its ability of making the grips tacky and I have used it several times. I would recommend this product very highly. As a matter of fact the grips felt like they were brand new.
I bought this product at the beginning of the summer to help with my sweaty hands during the heat and humidity. The first few times of using this product was pretty weird but it worked like a glove. Pretty amazing how great this works. I will always I keep one in my bag.

Playing in the super heat of Texas I sweat like a champ. This has been fantastic on keeping my hands tacky and keeping the grips from slipping.

Hank says,”The single most important aspect of grip pressure is that it stays the same throughout the swing. One of the biggest destroyers of the golf swing is an increase in grip pressure at the start of the downswing. When this happens it is virtually impossible to swing the clubhead on the correct path with the correct face angle. If anything the grip pressure should lighten slightly on the downswing to help us fully release the club.

Would be lost without it. Great product! Works well under any conditions. Will continue to purchase more as needed. They also make great gifts for fellow golfers.
Great grip starts here.
This helps me when my glove starts to age and feels slick. I just grip it with my glove hand and I’m good to go. It lasts a lot longer than 3 – 6 weeks. I’ve had one in my back for 6 mo. in a sealable sandwich bag.
“We had no problems in a downpour.”

Admittedly, I’ve gone ape over Gorilla Gold, a $5 towel that adds tackiness to your grips. At the national golf writers’ tournament, it poured so hard that by the second tee, my rain gloves were too saturated to be effective. In desperation, I dug into my bag for this USGA-approved towel. It’s coated with a nontoxic sticky substance — like pine tar but without the mess, as the company says. Just rub it on your grips and gloves as needed.
The three-pars, one-birdie start at Mid Pines Inn & Golf Club had me in contention, and I could swing as if it were a regular day. Though the tournament director called play, I kept going. Unlike everyone else, I could still hold onto a club. No question, this accessory is better than an umbrella.
Grip Enhancement Without The Mess.
I know that the golf club should be held lightly; however, because of diabetic neuropathy, I am unable to fully sense my grip and was frequently losing my grip on the follow-through. I read, in one of my golf magazines, about the use of Gorilla Gold Grip Enhancer by a touring pro. I was especially interested, after reading a product description, that this product did not produce any build-up, but rather dissipated over time. After using this product, I will always have a supply in my bag.
Confidence to grip the right way!
Like many hackers, we tend to grip the club as if we are angry at it (and we all are at times). I have tried to soften my grip, but still tend to over grip, especially on the later holes. Found with my first use of gorilla grip, that a quick squeeze with my right hand and I had the confidence to have a very soft grip and it really led to straight hits consistently.
Get a Grip!
Performed as advertised. Instills good grip confidence.
I sweat, a lot, almost all summer long. This spring, I had my clubs re-gripped with grips that have a non-textured surface and are very comfortable. When sweating season began I found that even a drop of sweat will spread to cover a large area on these grips making them nearly impossible to hold without slippage. (I found that even a slight amount of slippage can ruin a shot. Your subconscious senses the unexpected movement and that causes your whole body to react.)
These towels work! They make the grips tacky and easy to hold onto. No slippage. I have already ordered more.
“This is by far the best grip aide I have used.”
Competitive Athlete from Orange, CA
I was introduced to this product by doing research online and bought a box. Let me tell you I am a pitcher and an DH for my amateur team and College team and this is by far the best grip aide I have used (it is just as sticky as a mota stick without the mess). I am holding the bat looser in my hand which allows me to be quicker to the ball and focus cause I know I have a firm grip on the bat. The biggest Pro is there is no mess!!! I am picky and like my stuff nice cause it looks better for one and lasts longer, with this product you add a little and there is no sign by looking at it which I like. Lastly I was using it before each at bat, but I now have been using it before batting practice and it lasts me a whole game, a little goes a long way with this stuff and would recommend it to everyone
Holds Gear Well
Great product for gripping wood or metal bats.
Does not damage bat handles or batting gloves.
National Adult Baseball Team – batting avg .372
Very important part of our on-deck-circle.
“I will buy this product over and over.”

Bought this as softball games do not stop until the field is completely under water, is seems. My pitcher was throwing in a game where it started raining in the first inning and the game didn’t stop until the 6th inning. By that time her fingers were pruned and the balls she was pitching were water logged as well. All she could throw were fastballs. The rosin bag was nothing but a big mucky cake. After witnessing her have to suffer, I decided to take action. I saw this product and checked it out. It’s claim of being ASA approved is correct. I checked it out. We practiced with it in the rain one day as we practiced for her to get used to it. She LOVES it. We played a tournament in the rain again and she had that in her back pocket. She would reach back, squeeze the towel in her pocket, gently wipe her fingers on her pants, grab the ball and throw. Strike after strike, any pitch in her arsenal. I will buy this product over and over.
“Easy to use. No Mess. Absolutely no cons.”

Exactly what I expected. Love it, especially in hot wheather when the handle of my tennis racket is slippery. Emma
I used this for the first time today and it worked well. I bought this for use when playing tennis. I put an over grip on my racket (have tried two different ones) but I was still losing my grip from time to time due to sweating in this hot weather! This helped my grip, and I even noticed using it lessened vibration in my wrist.
It comes in a resealable bag, and you just follow the easy directions. I rubbed my hand on it, then rubbed my racket’s grip, and that was it. I repeated the process a couple of times during a couple of hours of playing. There was no chemical smell at all. I hardly knew it was there, but my grip knew it!
Just perfect for the grips on my pickleball paddles. No too sticky either.
Can’t play tennis without it!

If you play tennis every day you need this
Helped Relieve Tennis Elbow Pain.
I originally used Gorilla Gold because my hands sweat. It did much more than improve my grip. I suffered from tennis elbow pain and could play once every six to seven days before it felt good enough to play again. I started using Gorilla Gold and after a few months, I realized I wasn’t in pain and was playing a few times a week again. I think Gorilla Gold allows me to lighten up on my grip without losing control. Has anyone else experienced this using Gorilla Gold
Works great for throwing Hammer! Washes off much more easily than pine sap

Gives me an unfair edge
I am into pole fitness and purchased a new X-Pole. It was so slippery that I had been unable to grip the pole, until I used the Gorilla Gold Grip Enhancing Cloth. It helped break in the pole and give it some much needed texture so that I could grip the pole safely.
I LOVE it!!! It’s easy to keep on me and use during pole fitness. It doesn’t leave a residue behind and I can take it anywhere! The price wasn’t bad either!
Daughter uses it for basketball, the whole team loves it.
